Parental Advisory: Weird Detective Mystery Adventures is based on sensational popular escapist fiction. This branch of fiction features violent situations, descriptions of weapons, plots centering on criminal activities, allusions to outer space aliens, encounters with monsters and references to the occult. Our game’s visual presentation reflects genre literature. The game is written at a near-college reading level and utilizes basic math and statistical principles. Our text is based on literary research, with the subjects defined from the perspective of examining trends in fiction. While there is some variance from standard polite English usage, the text is free of profanity and defaming statements. Conforms to reasonable community standards. 

PRODUCT STANDARDS: The retail hardback edition of Weird Detective Mystery Adventures is printed in the U.S.A. by one of our production vendors. The books are manufactured using a specific weight of paper stock and casebound perfect binding to assure durability for reasonable use. Our printing vendor does not dropship, either to our customers or our retail partners. Instead, each edition is sent to HIL-GLE’s facilities where they are individually inspected for saleable condition. Units deemed to be in presentation condition are affixed with a quality control seal, usually in the corner of the final page of the edition. HIL-GLE may also affix other seals on its products as requested by our retailers or distributors. None of these seals constitute damage to the edition and are considered manufactured portions of the product, although their placement may not be uniform. Our product may have some variance between printings due to typo correction, image substitution or other editorial changes. At the time of shipment to the customer HIL-GLE makes all reasonable efforts to ensure that the edition is a saleable representation of its specific print run. Purchased units leaving our facility are checked for completeness and are free of dents, tears, smears, or soiling. Our packaging for shipment is meant to retain this condition, however if that is not the case, please contact us at SALES@HIL-GLE.comand we will make efforts to mitigate consumer loss. These efforts are limited to edition replacement or replacement with a like edition, refund, or partial refund. In general, HIL-GLE’s liability for the condition of the edition ends once it has been received by the consumer in saleable condition. Exceptions to this policy may be allowed specifically in regard to defects in perfect-binding or cover image lamination. HIL-GLE’s liability is only for editions purchased directly through the Weird Detective Mystery Adventures and HIL-GLE family of websites. 

Weird Detective Mystery Adventures has no MSRP. Retail partner price points are solely at their discretion. HIL-GLE reserves the right to alter its wholesale or retail price points at any time. Occasionally HIL-GLE may offer editions of its product which are at other than retail standard—generally damaged, non-production prototype or discontinued form. Such are sold as is and without warranty.
